Terms & Policies

These Terms govern your use of Rankr (the website, app and related services, together "Rankr", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Rankr you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Rankr.

1. Who we are and what we are not

Rankr is an independent, private educational platform for practice and preparation. We are not a government body and we are not affiliated with SSC, RRB, IBPS, UPSC, any State Public Service Commission, any police or defence recruitment board, or any other recruiting authority. Job and exam information on Rankr is curated from public sources for convenience only. Official notifications and websites are the only authoritative source. Always verify dates, eligibility, fees and instructions there before acting.

2. Fraud and misuse of our name

Rankr never asks for money for a job, a "seat", a "setting", paper leaks, guaranteed selection or result changes. We never call or message you asking for OTPs, passwords, bank or UPI details. Any person, page, group, phone number or website that claims to act for Rankr in such matters is a fraud. Rankr is not responsible or liable for any loss caused by fraud, impersonation, fake pages, fake offers or third parties misusing our name, logo or content. Please report such cases at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930, and inform us.

3. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your password private. You may sign in with email (after verifying it) or Google. One person may hold one account. Your public identity is a system-generated username; your real name stays private. You are responsible for all activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old; if you are under 18 you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms.

4. Content accuracy

We work hard to keep questions, answers, explanations and updates correct, but mistakes can happen and facts change. Content is provided "as is" for practice. We do not guarantee any score, rank or selection. You can report errors through the "Report" option; approved corrections may earn reputation points or badges as decided by us.

5. Arena, premium rooms and wallet

Arena battles are skill-based learning activities. Rankr does not offer online money games, betting or wagering. Any amount paid for a premium room or the Premium pass is a fee for access to premium learning content (premium question pools, analysis and features). Rewards are only non-monetary reputation (Aura, Respect, Helpful), levels and badges. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and are never paid out. Wallet balance can be used only inside Rankr for premium access and is not withdrawable. Entry fees are refunded automatically to the wallet if a room does not start. Once a battle starts, the fee is not refundable, including if you leave. We may change prices, tiers and features at any time.

6. Fair play

You must not use bots, scripts, multiple accounts, collusion, shared answers, automation or any method to manipulate timing, scores or reputation. The server measures all timings. We may cancel results, remove reputation, suspend or ban accounts and forfeit premium access without refund for cheating.

7. Adda community rules

  • Keep posts about preparation, exams and learning.
  • Do not share or ask for phone numbers, emails, social media handles, WhatsApp/Telegram groups or any contact details. Our system blocks these automatically.
  • No abusive, hateful, sexual, threatening, defamatory or harassing content. No content about paper leaks, cheating or impersonation.
  • No spam, advertising, paid coaching promotion, referral spam or misleading information.
  • Respect privacy. Do not post anyone's personal data, admit card, roll number or documents.

Violations lead to warnings, reputation penalties, automatic mutes, restrictions or permanent bans. Moderators may remove any content without notice. You keep ownership of what you post but give us a free, worldwide licence to display, store and moderate it on Rankr.

8. Reputation system

Aura, Respect and Helpful points are calculated by rules that we publish and may change. Points can go up and down, including penalties for misuse, fake reports or rule violations. Admin decisions on reputation are final.

9. Coaching center listings

Centers listed on Rankr are independent businesses. When you send an enquiry, your name, email, phone and message are shared with that center so they can contact you. Rankr may receive a commission from centers. We do not guarantee the quality, results, fees or conduct of any center. Visit and verify before paying anything.

10. AI doubt solver

AI answers are generated automatically and can be wrong or outdated. Use them as study help, not as an authoritative source. Do not enter personal or sensitive information. We may limit or switch off the feature at any time.

11. Payments

Payments are processed by our payment partner (such as Razorpay). We do not store your card or UPI details. See the Refund Policy for refunds.

12. Intellectual property

All content, design, questions, logos and software on Rankr belong to Rankr or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, resell or republish them without written permission.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rankr and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of opportunity, exam outcome, data or money, arising from use of Rankr, from third-party sites or centers, from service interruptions, or from fraud by others. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Rankr in the 3 months before the claim.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for any user who breaks these Terms or the law. You can stop using Rankr at any time and ask us to delete your account.

15. Changes and law

We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept the changes. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at our registered location have jurisdiction.

16. Contact

For questions, reports or grievances, write to the support email shown in the app. We aim to respond within 7 working days.
