Should I make daily handwritten notes for current affairs?
Write one-line notes with only who, what, where and when. Better still, solve the daily quiz and bookmark tricky questions for revision.
How can I retain numbers, dates and names?
Use spaced repetition: review day-1 news on day 3, day 7 and day 21, and test yourself in weekly mocks.
Is Rankr completely free for government exam aspirants?
Yes. Practice quizzes, mock tests, current affairs and free Arena rooms are free. Premium rooms and the optional Premium pass only unlock extra question pools and AI usage.
Which exams are the quizzes suitable for?
SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD Constable, CPO, RRB NTPC, Group D, ALP, State Police SI and Constable, and Banking prelims.
Can I review my mistakes after submitting a quiz?
Yes. The result screen shows marks, accuracy, time and a question-by-question review with correct answers and explanations.
Are money prizes given in the Arena?
No. Rankr does not run money games. Premium rooms unlock premium questions and double Aura; rewards are Aura, Respect and badges only.
How often are new quizzes and current affairs added?
Current affairs are updated daily and new quiz sets are added every week.
How do I start a quiz?
Open the Arena, pick a subject-wise or exam-wise category, tap any MCQ set and choose Learn, Timed test or Play with others.
How is the score calculated?
Each correct answer gives 2 marks. A wrong answer deducts marks × the negative ratio shown on the quiz (0.50 by default), just like SSC. Skipped questions give 0.
Do questions repeat?
No. You will not see the same question again until you have finished every question in that category. Options are also shuffled every time.
Can I prepare in Hindi?
Yes. Tap EN / हिं at the top to switch the whole app — questions, explanations, articles and menus.
How does the exam countdown work?
Add one or more exams with dates in My exam targets. Every morning you get the days left and your daily question target.
What are Aura, Respect and Helpful?
They are reputation points you earn by practising, winning battles, referring friends and helping in Adda. Fake reports, abuse or contact sharing reduce them.
Why can't I share my phone number in Adda?
To protect aspirants from spam and fraud, phone numbers, emails and social handles are blocked automatically. Keep discussions on Rankr.
Is the job information official?
We summarise public notifications and always link the official website. Rankr is not a government body — verify every detail on the official notice before applying.
What do paid rooms give me?
A paid room is an access fee for the premium question pool and analysis. It does not give money or extra prizes for winning.
Can I withdraw my wallet balance?
No. Wallet money is only for premium content inside Rankr. Unused top-ups can be refunded within 7 days as per the Refund Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Write to the support email from your registered address and we will delete your account and personal data.
